#226a (SG220a) 1969 QEII 3d multicolored Olympic Games on local cover cancelled HAMILTON 6 OCT 69, variety red-brown (“BERMUDA” and value) omitted. A major rarity which has just come to light and now is only the second example to be discovered on a cover. (The other example recorded which we sold several years ago is defective.) The addressee, a Mr. Greenshields, is the person who discovered the error. A normal on cover cancelled the same date accompanies. Absolutely pristine in all respects.
