1888-98 QV Powerful collection balance on album pages and part pages with first issue Printer’s file copies with Specimen overprints on the ½d, 2½d, 3d, 4d, 9d and 1/ values, shade and paper varieties, broken “Z” on 2½d, mint and used 1/ values plus a 5/ without gum (PFSA certificate). Natal ½d overprints with and without stops, square stops mint and used, overprints on the 1d revenue with Specimen, mint and used blocks and shades. The 1894 issue nicely represented with pane of the ½d (block of 4 removed), control number pairs, blocks and strips, a nice representation of the 2/6 (2 Specimens, 2 mint, 3 used) and 4/ (3 Specimens, mint, used and fiscally used). Also a £1 fiscally used with Deeds Office hs and ms “5” in year date “95”. An excellent lot for dealer or collector with many interesting little tidbits throughout. (SG over £3,000 plus Specimens).
